Sara and I just landed in New York City for a whirlwind trip; we’re heading back tomorrow afternoon. While we’ll probably do a little shopping and enjoy a meal or two, our main reason for being here is our fourth appearance on the TODAY Show.
For several years, Stampin’ Up! has been involved with other DSA companies in donating to the TODAY Show’s Holiday Toy Drive; we’ve given hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of crafting supplies over the years. The show’s producers and hosts have graciously invited us to appear on the show for several years now, and it’s both an honor and a bit of a nerve-wracking experience.
This year, however, is different. For me, it’s simply an honor! I’m leaving the nerve-wracking part of it to Sara, who will actually be representing Stampin’ Up! in her first-ever TODAY Show appearance. (I smile as I write that. . . .I’m so proud of her, and so glad it isn’t me!)
I hope you’ll get a chance to watch Sara. She’s scheduled to be on during the fourth hour of the show, which is the segment that Kathie Lee and Hoda host. (It’s on from 10-11 EST.)
I hope to post a few Facebook updates tomorrow morning, so check out my Facebook page when you have a minute, and join me in wishing Sara good luck! (I know she’ll do a fabulous job!)
