I hosted Shalae’s second class last night—her second in a row! It went well, and we are both learning a lot and having fun! She blogged about it, so you can read about it here.
I will mention that the project was darling, yet simple. Most of her guests are newbies to stamping, and it was wonderful to see them try out the Big Shot and experience that sense of accomplishment from creating something with their own hands.
It was also enjoyable to see the socializing that went on. I’ve always recognized the power of time spent creating with friends, and I am reminded of that every time I go to a stamping activity! Most of the people Shalae invited were neighbors, so many already know each other, but they’re getting to know each other even better as they stamp together. In fact, one guest moved in to the neighborhood within the last year, and she came specifically to become better acquainted with everyone!
We’re already looking forward to April. . . can’t wait to see what project Shalae chooses next!
